A Marysville, Washington man came up to spend a little fishing time on the North fork and didn't make it home. He was 71 years old and fishing the upper canyon, he had parked on top of Skagland Hill and descended a very steep trail down to the old railroad bed, to access the river. He was found aprox 900 feet down river from the canyon entrance.
May he rest in peace.
Be careful; watch every step along the river.
