My neighbors and friends, Patrick Shunn and his wife Monique Patenaude, have been missing since late afternoon on April 11, please contact the Snohomish County Sherrif's office at (425) 388-7939 or 911 if you spot them or one of their vehicles.

Patrick did not show up for work on Tuesday April 12, nor did he call in. That is very uncharacteristic of him.

Patrick and Monique have pets and livestock and they haven't been taken care of them since Monday April 11, They live in Oso, Washington and are both officially missing.

Action: On the Stillaguamish River and the North Fork of the Stillaguamish River, anglers must release all steelhead; selective gear rules apply. 
Effective Date:  Dec. 7, 2015 through Jan. 31, 2016
Species affected: Steelhead.
Locations: 

• Stillaguamish River from Marine Drive upstream to the forks.
• North Fork Stillaguamish from the mouth to Swede Heaven Bridge.

Reason for action:  Ensure broodstock needs for early winter steelhead are met at the Whitehorse Hatchery. No early winter hatchery steelhead smolt have been released from the Whitehorse Hatchery since 2013. This year’s hatchery return of early winter steelhead is forecast to be 22 percent of average for recent years. 
 Additional Information: A steelhead retention fishery may reopen if hatchery broodstock needs are met. Retention of gamefish other than steelhead is allowed as described in the Sport Fishing Rules pamphlet.

Mark Headrick has passed to the other side may he rest in peace.

Long time North Fork Stillaguamish Fisherman Mark Headrick  has left us to fish with his grandfather Frank Headrick.  He will be missed by many, Rest in peace Mark.
